Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification experience as a Medical Scientist.
• Strong Haematology experience with evidence of senior-level capability.
• Relevant registration/eligibility to practise in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Performing and overseeing routine and specialised Haematology investigations.
• Analysing and interpreting patient samples and results.
• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results.
• Supporting quality management and laboratory compliance.
• Assisting with troubleshooting, validation and implementation of laboratory procedures.
• Providing guidance to junior team members.

PE Global Healthcare is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Medical Scientist with a strong background in Haematology to join a leading hospital laboratory team in Dublin. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing and overseeing routine and specialised Haematology investigations
• Analysing and interpreting patient samples and results

We’re Looking For

• Significant post-qualification experience as a Medical Scientist
• Strong and demonstrable Haematology experience
• Experience working at Senior Medical Scientist level or ready to progress into a senior position
• Relevant degree in Medical Science or equivalent recognised qualification
• Relevant professional registration/eligibility to practise in Ireland
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
