Job summary

Hollister Incorporated is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer in Ireland to lead medical device packaging activities for Ostomy and Continence Care units. You will serve as a technical subject matter expert for new product development, commercialization, and changes to existing products, including packaging and labeling systems, equipment, and materials.

The role supports continuous improvement objectives, mentors team members, and represents Hollister at industry events, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Packaging or relevant Bachelor of Engineering.
• Advanced Degree is desirable.
• 8+ years overall industry experience with Bachelors or 6+ years with Masters.
• Experience in medical device packaging development and commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects for new product development and commercialization.
• Apply expert knowledge on complex packaging projects.
• Establish and manage packaging project schedules.
• Develop and validate sterile and non-sterile packaging systems and equipment.
• Source and qualify new packaging materials, equipment and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and changes.
• Identify cost savings initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation and data.
• Mentor peers in technical requirements.
• Develop test methods with statistical analysis.
