Job summary

Rockwell Engineering in Cork seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management and procurement for mechanical projects. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Commercial Manager and is based in the Cork region.

You will lead pricing, variations, and reporting, manage subcontractors from award to final account, and forecast turnover and cash flow while ensuring contractual compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a quantity surveyor in construction.
• Experience with commercial and industrial scale projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full cost management and procurement for projects.
• Prepare and review monthly progress reports and remeasurements.
• Manage subcontractor accounts from award to final account.
• Forecast turnover and cash flow; monitor variations and claims.
• Ensure contractual requirements are met and provide guidance to the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends affecting mechanical and HVAC systems.
