Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Raheen, Limerick, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Site Engineering team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with mechanical systems, utilities, facilities, or project engineering.
• Experience leading mechanical engineering activities in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical/biotech.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Mechanical Engineering representative within multidisciplinary project teams from concept through design, construction, commissioning, qualification and handover.
• Coordinate with Process, I&C, Electrical, Maintenance, Operations and Quality groups.
• Establish and maintain site mechanical specifications, piping layouts, P&IDs, and utility designs.
• Support contractor management, commissioning plans, startup activities and system turnover documentation.
• Lead mechanical engineering activities supporting manufacturing, laboratories, HVAC, process utilities, and site infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical oversight and review of consultants, contractors, and vendor designs.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering evaluations.
• Recommend new technologies and equipment upgrades for site efficiency.
