Job summary

IN2 Engineering Design Partnership seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design across major projects and deliver from concept to completion. You will shape technical direction, manage delivery, and mentor juniors while building strong client relationships.

You’ll work with clients, consultants, and internal teams to drive sustainability and innovation, with opportunities for progression through IN2 Academy and chartership guidance across a global practice including Athlone,

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• 6+ years' consultancy experience.
• Strong technical expertise across mechanical systems.
• Proven experience leading projects and client relationships.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design across major projects.
• Manage delivery including timelines, quality, and technical output.
• Oversee calculations, specifications, and technical reviews.
• Act as a key client contact and trusted advisor.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Drive sustainability and innovation within projects.
