Job summary

Ryan's Automotive is seeking an experienced qualified mechanic to split time between servicing, diagnostics and repairs at our Ballindoney workshop in Ballywilliam, Co. Wexford. The role offers hands-on technical work with ongoing in-house manufacturer-quality training including Hybrid and EV systems.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, be a strong team player, and possess excellent diagnostic abilities along with a full driving licence. Excellent salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified motor technician/mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Full driving licence.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent team player, proactive, punctual, reliable and high standards of efficiency.
• Experience using technical information and manufacturers diagnostic equipment (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Support other technicians.
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Complete jobs to ensure deadlines and requirements are reached.
