Job summary
Abbott Diabetes Care Kilkenny is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Support Engineer to join the manufacturing operations team. You will help ensure reliability, performance and continuous improvement of production equipment and processes.
You will lead process engineering initiatives, drive standardisation, monitor key performance indicators and mentor engineers, while collaborating across Quality, R&D, Regulatory and Operations to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
- Minimum 5 years in medical device/pharma regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience with reliability improvement and maintenance strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide process engineering leadership at site and global levels.
- Identify and reduce manufacturing process risks using data-driven methods.
- Lead process improvement programmes for standardisation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Automation and Operations.
- Mentor engineers through technical and process challenges.
- Drive CAPA and corrective actions from investigations.
