Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineering Manager to lead Engineering Operations across value streams in a regulated environment at our Clare, Ireland site. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years in manufacturing engineering in a GMP environment.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience; Green or Black Belt preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as filling, assembly, machining, fabrication, automation, labeling and inspection.
• Leadership, coaching and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Manufacturing Engineers to support Operations in driving KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity; conduct annual reviews and development plans for direct reports.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to resolve manufacturing issues, minimize downtime, and ensure smooth operations.
• Provide Technical Leadership on process issues; implement standards and identify projects to resolve complex issues regarding equipment.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Evaluate and deploy new equipment and automation solutions to boost capability and scalability.
• Partner with Quality teams to maintain process controls, conduct NC/CAPA, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Utilize PSP/DIVE to troubleshoot new products/process/equipment with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
