Job summary

Darwin Hawkins in Dublin is seeking a Senior Manager – Turnaround & Performance Improvement to lead operational turnarounds and value creation engagements across multiple industries. You will partner with senior client leaders to deliver measurable performance improvements and to drive end-to-end transformation initiatives.

Ideal candidates will bring 6+ years of turnaround or performance improvement experience, a commercial and analytical mindset, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in corporate turnaround, restructuring, transformation or performance improvement.
• Commercial and analytical approach with the ability to identify and deliver tangible improvements.
• Experience gained within consulting, industry or lender-side restructuring.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with senior leadership teams.
• A clear interest in operational turnaround and value creation rather than insolvency-led restructuring.

Responsibilities

• Turnaround Projects – Lead operational turnaround and performance improvement engagements across a range of businesses and industries.
• Performance Improvement – Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.
• Cost & Cash – Deliver cost reduction, cash improvement and working capital initiatives.
• Transformation – Manage multiple workstreams and ensure transformation initiatives are delivered effectively.
• Stakeholder Management – Work closely with senior client stakeholders to develop solutions and implement meaningful change.
• Commercial Analysis – Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to improve value and operational effectiveness.
• Team Development – Support and mentor junior team members across client engagements.
• Business Development – Contribute to proposals, client development and the continued growth of the Value Creation practice.
