Job summary

EY's Government and Infrastructure Advisory (GIA) team is expanding to capitalise on Ireland's National Development Plan and infrastructure opportunities. You will deliver strategic, commercial and financial advisory across sectors such as transport, energy and real estate, working with clients in the public and private sectors.

Reporting to a Partner/Director, you will lead engagements, manage teams, review financial models and develop proposals, while building internal and external

Qualifications

• Experience in two or more of our services: strategic advice and business planning, procurement, financing, funding, PPPs, contract/grant management, asset management, oversight/management, and infrastructure M&A.
• Accountancy, corporate finance or equivalent qualification with proven relevant and transferable work experience.
• Relevant degree; numeric subjects preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in English.
• Demonstrable organisation and self-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with client focus, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and co-develop our approach with the client.
• Gather, verify and analyse information to formulate views.
• Project management of team, client and stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day progression of assignments and deliverables.
• Identify risks and escalate appropriately.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team.
• Review financial data and Excel models.
• Develop proposals and business development material.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
