Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for a leading medical device company in Galway. This is a permanent position with evening shifts. Responsibilities include leading Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures, managing downtime data, and supporting equipment maintenance and improvement projects.

The ideal candidate should have a Level 7 qualification in a technical discipline and at least five years of experience in the medical device manufacturing field, with strong electrical fault finding skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or a controlled environment.
• At least five years' experience as an equipment or process technician.
• Minimum of three years of automated equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead formal Root Cause Analysis investigations for equipment failures.
• Ownership of downtime data analysis and presenting trends.
• Develop design and prototyping of production tooling.
• Execute preventative maintenance on time.
• Lead Improvement projects related to equipment.
