Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an Engineering Manager for a high-volume food manufacturing site. The role will lead all engineering and maintenance activities, drive equipment reliability, and ensure strict compliance with food safety, health and safety, and quality standards.

You will oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programmes, coordinate repairs, and work closely with production and technical teams to minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or a similar regulated environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in engineering/maintenance.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and quality systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis, deviations, training, and documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
