Irish Building Services Engineering Consultancy in Dublin is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer focused on healthcare and building services. You will take mechanical designs from concept through detailed design and construction, coordinating with clients, architects and engineers to ensure designs meet programme and project requirements.

The role requires strong experience in healthcare facilities, HVAC, ventilation and water services, with ownership of technical design and coordination

Formación

• Must have strong mechanical building services design experience.
• Healthcare or hospital project experience is required.
• Proven experience designing HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling and domestic water services.
• Must be comfortable taking mechanical designs through detailed design and construction stages.
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and relevant mechanical design standards required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical building services design across healthcare projects from concept through construction.
• Design and specify HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, water and associated mechanical systems.
• Produce and review calculations, specifications, technical reports and mechanical design documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical services with architectural, structural and electrical designs.
• Work closely with BIM teams to resolve clashes and technical coordination issues.
• Attend design and project meetings, providing technical input through construction and commissioning.
