Job summary

Cpl Group in Ireland is seeking a Senior Line Equipment Technician to act as the technical SME for manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will drive fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement to maximise equipment uptime.

Reporting to the Engineering team, you will support GMP-compliant manufacturing, contribute to root cause investigations, and mentor technicians as well as collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to ensure stable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Equipment Technician or Process Technician in medical device manufacturing.
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience essential.
• Experience diagnosing electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment fault-finding and technical troubleshooting activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment improvements.
• Drive root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Analyse downtime trends and present improvement actions.
• Support tooling, fixtures and production equipment requirements.
• Assist with onboarding and technical development of technicians.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Engineering team, the Senior Line Equipment Technician will act as the technical SME for manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in equipment uptime, fault diagnosis, root cause investigations, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong electrical fault-finding experience is essential
• Automated equipment maintenance experience
• Experience diagnosing electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability
• Experience working within GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong communication and technical reporting skills

• Base salary up to €48,000 DOE
