Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Layout in Ireland to lead a team of layout engineers in advanced CMOS FinFET technologies. You will drive physical design, floorplanning, and cross‑functional collaboration to achieve design closure on high‑speed analog/digital subsystems.

You will mentor engineers, define methodologies, and oversee verification, timing, and sign‑off processes to ensure successful tapeouts. Strong leadership and technical authority are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of full custom IC layout experience.
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, including strong VXL expertise.
• Deep understanding of LVS, DRC, antenna checks, and verification/debug methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of layout engineers in advanced CMOS FinFET technologies (16nm and below).
• Physical design lead for high-speed analog, mixed-signal, and digital products.
• Drive floorplan development at block, subsystem, and full-chip levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design closure.
• Define and improve design methodologies and automation workflows.
• Lead physical verification processes including DRC, LVS, ERC, density checks, extraction.
• Develop project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Mentor and lead layout teams to foster growth.
