Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Landscape Planner in Ireland to support the UK&I Landscape Architecture team. You will work on major regional and global projects, influencing design outcomes from early stages to support net zero goals and deliver broad environmental and social benefits.

Ideal candidates bring strong landscape planning and assessment expertise, energy transition experience, and the ability to lead and develop others within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• LVIAs/TVIAs and evidence-base docs prepared per best practice.
• Strong understanding of the UK planning system for landscape projects.
• Project management knowledge including financial control and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site survey and analysis using innovative processes.
• Produce or oversee reports, drawings and technical docs to defined stages.
• Communicate clearly; author reports and participate in calls and meetings.
• Provide guidance to mentor junior staff and support team development.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to enhance delivery.
• Assist leads with project management responsibilities including budget and schedule.
• Understand and apply AECOM procedures on projects.
