Job summary

E-Frontiers in Dublin is seeking an experienced Java Developer for a 6-month contract. The role offers a hybrid working pattern: 1 day onsite and 4 days from home, with a daily rate of €400–€450 depending on experience.

You will work on enterprise-scale systems within a standards-driven, Agile environment with exposure to complex data, integrations and regulated systems. You will contribute to both new development and enhancements, support testing and releases, and mentor junior developers

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Java Developer in enterprise or public sector environments.
• Strong experience with Java, SQL, XML and JSON.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery models in structured environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD or release processes.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, estimate, and deliver new features and enhancements as a Java Developer in line with standards.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code with unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Support system test, release cycles, and production migrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to risk tracking, reporting, and Agile/hybrid delivery ceremonies and documentation.
