Job summary

IT Search in Ireland is hiring experienced Java Developers to work on high-performance trading technology within a sophisticated engineering environment in Dublin.

This role focuses on building scalable backend services with Java and Spring Boot, solving concurrency and performance challenges, and working with Kafka, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven architectures to deliver reliable, low-latency systems with robust CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, multithreading and distributed systems.
• Experience with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Docker and cloud platforms.
• Financial services or low-latency experience is a plus.
