Job summary

Primark is seeking a Senior IT Internal Auditor to join the Finance-aligned Internal Audit team. The role focuses on planning, executing, and reporting IT audits, delivering analytics, and ensuring controls align with Primark and ABF objectives. Limited travel is required.

You will work with stakeholders across the business to develop risk-based audit plans, lead audit activities, and drive improvements in IT risk management and controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in IT audit, assurance and/or IT security.
• Third level qualification in a related field.
• Professional IT Audit certifications: CISA, CISM.
• Experience performing technology/security process walkthroughs, identifying risks and scoping controls.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with accountability.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent planning and organisation, multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Define the IT risk universe with stakeholders and plan a risk-based audit.
• Lead an IT audit approach for the business.
• Complete fieldwork, review team work, lead exit meetings and manage timelines and high-quality reports.
• Deliver IT audit and risk engagements with data analytics within the audit approach.
• Develop audit programs and complete IT audits across the business.
• Provide IT risk consultation on projects and implementations.
• Lead IT-based investigations and post-incident reviews.
• Audit key IT risks across the business and collaborate to improve controls and risk management.
