Job summary

Primark in Dublin is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead risk-based audits across the business from the Finance function. You will ensure independent assurance on governance, risk management, and controls, with a focus on store operations and retail processes.

The role includes managing audit teams, delivering high-quality reports, and supporting complex ad hoc reviews. The position offers exposure to a fast-growing value fashion retail group with development potential.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum of five years of experience in audit, assurance and/or risk management.
• Big 4 / Top 10 professional services experience.
• Experience of data analytics.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of risk-based auditing standards and techniques, and general accounting methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver end-to-end audits across Primark operations, including team members' audits.
• Perform robust risk assessments and define audit scopes and objectives.
• Lead audit fieldwork, supervise team members, and ensure evidence-based conclusions.
• Prepare clear audit reports with practical, risk-focused recommendations.
• Act as primary audit contact for management within assigned business areas.
• Lead and coach auditors on engagements and review outputs for quality and compliance.
• Track management action plans and validate remediation of audit findings.
