Job summary

Astreya Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Installation Service professional to independently execute and oversee complex server and network deployments supporting enterprise physical security systems.

In this mid-level role, you will own installation projects, configure advanced infrastructure components, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with security installers and sustaining operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise server and network deployment.
• Dell PowerEdge servers with RAID/PERC, iDRAC configuration, and Lifecycle Controller operations.
• Cisco networking: Catalyst switches, VLANs, QoS, PoE, IOS hardening.
• Windows Server and Linux OS deployment, administration, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
• Scripting: Python and PowerShell for automation and deployment acceleration.
• Strong communication and ability to mentor junior engineers in a 24x7 support model.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware provisioning with RAID configuration and disk optimization for high-write security applications.
• Configure iDRAC and Lifecycle Controller baselines using Dell OpenManage.
• Deploy operating systems via PXE boot or iDRAC Virtual Media (Windows Server & hardened Linux).
• Design network segmentation with VLANs to isolate security traffic from management networks.
• Configure QoS on Cisco Catalyst switches for high-bandwidth video streams.
• Manage PoE budgeting on access layer switches for IP cameras and readers.
• Harden Cisco IOS devices with ACLs and secure management protocols.
• Coordinate with Network Engineers and Physical Security teams to validate readiness.
• Perform validation tests including bandwidth, distance checks, and latency measurements.
• Create As-Built docs: topology, VLAN matrices, IP assignments, backups.
• Provide 24x7 support and conduct root cause analyses for medium-complexity issues.
• Deliver weekly status updates and maintain asset management documentation.
