Job summary

Astreya is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Installation Service to independently execute and oversee complex server and network deployments supporting enterprise physical security systems in Ireland.

In this mid-level role, you will own installation projects, configure advanced infrastructure components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration between servers, network gear, and security endpoints.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on enterprise server and network infrastructure deployment.
• Dell PowerEdge servers, RAID controllers (PERC), iDRAC configuration and Lifecycle Controller.
• Cisco networking: Catalyst switches, VLANs, QoS, PoE, IOS security hardening.
• Windows Server and Linux OS deployment, administration, troubleshooting.
• Scripting and automation: Python, PowerShell; basic configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware provisioning incl RAID config and disk optimization for high-write security apps.
• Configure iDRAC and Lifecycle Controller baselines using OpenManage before OS deployment.
• Deploy OS via PXE boot or iDRAC Virtual Media for Windows and Linux.
• Design network segmentation using VLANs to isolate security traffic from mgmt.
• Configure QoS on Cisco Catalyst switches for high-bandwidth video streams.
• Manage PoE budgeting on access switches for IP cameras and panels.
• Harden IOS devices with ACLs and secure protocols.
• Coordinate with Network Engineers and Security teams to validate readiness.
• Validate with bandwidth, latency tests; prepare As-Built docs.
• Provide 24x7 technical support for infrastructure systems.
