Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced IT Risk Management professional to support its Information Security and Technology Risk programs in Ireland. The role focuses on risk assessment, regulatory interactions, and reporting to senior management.

You will work with global teams to identify, measure, and mitigate technology risks, develop metrics, and ensure controls align with industry standards such as COBIT and NIST. This is a key contributor role for IT risk delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT risk management, technology risk, or IT audit.
• Ability to develop technology risk metrics and executive-level presentations.
• Strong communication and collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technology and cybersecurity risk metrics and assessments.
• Prepare materials for regulatory interactions, audits, and leadership meetings.
• Identify risks in internal technologies and externally hosted systems.
• Define requirements and plans for IT risk programs.
• Ensure alignment with regulations and industry standards.
• Report risk findings and remediation plans to management.
