Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to guide a talented team in delivering robust, scalable software. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor developers, and implement modern engineering practices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.

You will lead the development lifecycle, ensure code quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership, deep Java expertise, and cloud experience are essential for shaping secure, high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Expertise in Java (Java 8+) with OOP, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• Extensive experience building microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL/MySQL; familiarity with MongoDB/Cassandra.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with JUnit/Mockito.
• Ability to design scalable, secure software architectures and lead engineering teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
