Job summary

Bloomberg in Dublin is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Mobile Professional group. You will help build native apps using Swift, contributing to a high-scale iOS stack across UI and server-side components.

You’ll collaborate with UX, Product and other engineers to deliver reliable, real-time mobile experiences for financial professionals worldwide while shaping architecture and engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern iOS architectures and UI systems.
• Strong fundamentals in concurrency, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience designing maintainable, modular and testable software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality native iOS applications using Swift.
• Work across a diverse technology stack around the iOS platform.
• Be responsible for the app's server-side infrastructure (Python, C++) and tools.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to deliver intuitive mobile experiences.
• Partner with other tech teams to align direction and solve engineering challenges.
• Take ownership of scale, reliability, and real-time systems.
