Amicus Search & Recruitment is partnering with an international law firm to recruit a senior Irish-qualified investment funds lawyer for its Dublin office. The role offers ownership of Irish funds advisory work, direct access to leadership, and a chance to shape the Dublin practice within a specialist, technology-driven environment.

You will independently advise on UCITS and AIF structures, navigate regulatory issues, and draft or review fund documentation.

Job description

Our client, an international law firm dedicated exclusively to the asset management industry, is looking for a senior Irish-qualified investment funds lawyer to join its Dublin office. If you want to be the go-to Irish funds expert in a specialist, technology-driven firm, with real autonomy this is a rare opportunity.

The firm is part of a group providing legal and regulatory services to asset managers from offices across Europe and beyond, including Dublin, Frankfurt, London, Luxembourg and New York. Its practice is built around the full life of a fund, from structuring and establishment through to cross-border registration, distribution and ongoing compliance. It pairs this with its own digital platform and in-house technology team, so it works in a different way from a traditional law firm. The client base is international and spans asset managers, fund promoters, management companies and service providers.

This is a senior role with real ownership. You’ll independently advise clients on Irish UCITS and AIF structures and the regulatory issues around them, draft and review fund documentation including prospectuses and supplements, and act as the key Irish funds voice across the group’s cross-border work. Given the firm’s size and specialism, you’ll have direct access to leadership, visible impact, and the scope to shape how the Dublin practice grows.

You’ll bring:

• Substantial experience as an Irish-qualified investment funds lawyer, with strong technical knowledge of UCITS and AIF structures.
• The confidence to advise clients independently and run matters end to end.
• Sound knowledge of the Central Bank of Ireland regulatory framework.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills and an interest in how technology is changing legal services.
