Working on the Investment Proposition team within the Irish Life Brokerage Division, this role will act as a senior subject matter expert (SME), responsible for the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of fund and investment solutions for the Irish Life Brokerage channel. They will act as day-to-day lead on complex projects end-to-end, assist in developing innovative solutions, and influence strategic direction to ensure the investment proposition remains competitive, compliant, and commercially impactful. The role will collaborate extensively across teams and external stakeholders to drive Irish Life’s strategic objectives and deliver a market-leading investment proposition.

Key Accountabilities

1. Co-ordinate accurate fund set up and fund update documentation on a timely basis
2. Responsible for drafting and maintaining fund related literature and supports, liaising with compliance and marketing as needed
3. Lead the creation and delivery of ongoing fund reviews for internal and external stakeholders
4. Support the Platform fund manager with preparation of approval documentation for standard and non-standard funds
5. Provide accurate fund performance data and analysis to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
to deliver a high standard of service. The role holder will be required to represent both the investment proposition team and brokerage at relevant internal and external meetings.
7. Lead the operational excellence agenda, including identifying and driving opportunities for change, data quality, automation and efficiency to ensured continued development and enhancement of services provided
8. Take a central role in delivering and co-ordinating specific or related tasks within the team, keeping all plans on track and achieving objectives on time, whilst taking a lead proactive role in achieving overall team objectives. Ensure regulatory reporting obligations are carried out within the stipulated timeframe.

Technical Criteria for Role:

1. Third level degree in a relevant discipline required
2. Significant technical knowledge of investment markets, principal asset classes, fund structures and drivers affecting broker investment propositions
3. Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable strategies
4. Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to fund documentation and financial services
5. Experience working in life office or life fund context beneficial
6. Evidence in progression of relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA, Actuarial) desirable
7. Ability to work on their own initiative whilst working as part of a larger team.
8. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills required to interact with clients and financial institutions
9. Proactive approach to identifying, understanding and mitigating risks, understanding processes and solving problems
