Job summary

Marsh in Dublin is seeking a Senior Client Advisor to join our Advisory team in the Dublin office, with a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The role requires commercial insurance experience and CIP qualification, focusing on servicing a dedicated book of Domestic and Multinational clients both as Producing Office and Servicing Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and service to Clients and Client Executives using own knowledge and that of colleagues.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts from standalone statuary to multidi-vision complex risks (Property, BI, Motor, Liability, Group Travel/PA, Marine).
• Negotiate renewals, re-marketing and finalise insurance placements in conjunction with the Placement team.
• Deliver day-to-day client support including invoicing, issue of cover notes, endorsements and summaries within agreed timescales.
• Develop strong relationships with colleagues, Insurance Companies and personnel.
• Ensure compliance procedures are maintained and adhered to at all times.
• Ensure cover placement aligns with client instructions and is delivered on time.
• Maintain timely saving of emails and documents on Acturis.
• Support the Team Manager with projects and other work as required.
• Collaborate with Marsh network of overseas offices.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Client Advisor to join our Dublin based Advisory team. The successful applicant will work within the RMP Ireland Practise who are a dedicated team providing full advisory / executive service to an existing book of Domestic and / or Multinational client, both Outgoing as the Producing Office (PO) and Incoming as the Servicing Office (SO).

This role will be based in our Dublin office and offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Please note, commercial insurance experience will be an essential prerequisite for this position, and the successful candidate must also be CIP qualified.

This highly sought after position will involve working closely with the designated Account Executives plus local colleagues in Dublin plus the Marsh network from both perspectives, PO and SO.

You will be responsible for servicing your own dedicated book of clients which will involve managing renewals, invoicing, identifying client needs, mid-term adjustments and generally handling any queries that come through from your dedicated client base in a quick and professional manner.

This position will suit an experienced Commercial or Corporate Insurance professional, ideally from a broking background, however, we will also consider candidates from Commercial / Corporate Underwriting backgrounds, where there is a desire to move into servicing and candidates can demonstrate a high level of relationship management skills.

We will rely on you to:

• Provide the best technical advice and service to Clients and Client Executives, utilising own knowledge and that of colleagues as necessary
• Responsible for a portfolio of accounts ranging from standalone statuary covers up to large Multidivisional complex risks (including Property, BI, Motor, Liability and Group Travel/PA, Marine)
• Negotiate renewals, re-marketing and finalise insurance placements as well as working closely with our Placement team
• Provide day to day client support and service with a prompt response to enquiries including invoicing, issue of cover notes, endorsements, and summaries within agreed timescale
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, Insurance Companies and their personnel

• Ensure cover placement in line with client instructions is delivered on time
• Ensure that all emails and documents are saved in a timely manner on Acturis
• Support the Team Manager with projects and other work as required
• Working closely with Marsh network of overseas offices
