Job summary

Origina is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the IT team in a hybrid role supporting Azure and hybrid infrastructure. You will drive platform improvements, automation, and secure, scalable solutions to underpin internal operations, customer services, and AI capabilities.

You will collaborate with IT, security and product teams, act as a senior escalation point, and help ensure resilience, governance and efficient operation of our cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Must have strong infrastructure/Cloud background with hands-on delivery experience.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and enterprise Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge of networking, identity, security and cloud governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure, scalable infrastructure in Azure and hybrid environments.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives from design to operational handover.
• Drive modernization and automation across the estate.
• Implement IaC and standardised platform management practices.
• Design and support Azure Virtual Desktop and modern workplace solutions.
• Collaborate with development, AI and security teams to meet performance and security needs.
• Improve infrastructure security, monitoring, and Azure controls.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.
