Job summary

TechHeads in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Senior IT Manager to own critical technology services across database operations, cloud management, data engineering and third-party delivery. Qualifications

• Proven Senior IT Management / IT Operations leadership in a complex, business-critical environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments.
• Experience managing cloud services, governance, security and operational resilience.
• Demonstrable experience leading technical teams, ideally within data engineering or data platforms.
• Extensive experience in third-party supplier management, contracts, SLAs and service delivery.
• Strong commercial awareness, financial management and risk oversight capabilities.
• Ability to engage directly with executive stakeholders and translate technical issues into business priorities.
• Track record of taking ownership, improving operational performance and delivering immediate impact.

Hybrid / Dublin City Centre

Senior opportunity with an established organisation seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to take ownership of critical technology services across database operations, cloud management, data engineering and third-party delivery.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role combines technology oversight with people leadership, operational governance and commercial accountability. The successful candidate will lead a team of Data Engineers, oversee business-critical services and drive performance across internal teams and external technology providers.

The initial engagement is six months, with the potential for a longer-term contract or permanent appointment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the performance, security, resilience and availability of critical IT services.
