Job summary

Allied Talent is supporting a well-established organisation in Dublin to hire a Senior Implementation Specialist to lead the finance and commercial workstreams of a Dynamics 365 Business Central rollout. You will collaborate with an external partner on configuration, data migration, testing and training, and, after go-live, own ongoing development of Business Central and related reporting.

Applicants must be based in Ireland and able to work from the Dublin office three days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

• Ability to translate business requirements to system configurations.

Responsibilities

Job description

On behalf of a well-established organisation in Dublin currently undergoing an ERP transformation, we are looking to hire a Senior Implementation Specialist.

The immediate focus is leading the finance and commercial workstreams of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, working alongside an external implementation partner on configuration, data migration, testing and training. Once live, the role evolves into ongoing ownership and development of Business Central and the wider financial and commercial systems portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance and commercial workstreams of the Business Central implementation, acting as the internal point of contact between the implementation partner and business stakeholders
• Gather, document and validate business requirements, mapping them to Business Central functionality
• Support system configuration (dimensions, workflows, roles, permissions) and manage data migration activities including extraction, cleansing, mapping and validation
• Plan and execute UAT, deliver end-user training, and provide first-line support through go-live and hypercare
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Jet Reports) and support month-end/year-end reporting

What We're Looking For:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or F&O, Dynamics NAV), whether implementation, configuration or administration
• Proven experience in a similar systems, accounting or commercial-focused role, including system implementation/integration projects
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial or commercial reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills, comfortable with data cleansing, mapping and validation
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
