Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to design, implement and optimise Microsoft Entra ID solutions in a Dublin hybrid environment. You will lead Conditional Access implementations, MFA/passwordless controls, and identity governance within a large Microsoft environment.

The role focuses on Zero Trust initiatives, identity lifecycles, Entra Connect integration and PowerShell automation, delivering secure identity services across on-prem and cloud estates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Identity & Access Management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Experience implementing and managing Conditional Access policies.
• Familiar with MFA/passwordless and modern identity controls.
• Experience with Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Identity Governance, Access Reviews and Entitlement Management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Microsoft Entra ID solutions.
• Lead CA policy implementations and authentication controls.
• Configure MFA, Passwordless, and SSPR.
• Drive Zero Trust initiatives and strengthen security posture.
• Manage identity lifecycle workflows (Joiner/Mover/Leaver).
• Integrate cloud and on-prem identities via Entra Connect/Cloud Sync.
• Administer PIM and privileged access controls.
• Implement Identity Governance (Access Reviews, Entitlement).
• Support Defender for Identity and threat detection initiatives.
• Automate identity admin with PowerShell and Graph API.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Infra and Cloud teams.
• Produce technical docs and transfer knowledge.
