Job summary

Arcadis in Ireland is seeking a Lead I&C / Life Safety Systems Engineer to act as a senior technical lead on complex, multi-discipline projects across high-tech facilities, from concept through commissioning.

You will coordinate I&C and LSS design activities, provide direction to engineers and designers, interface with clients and vendors, and ensure safe, compliant, and constructible designs aligned with scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in an associated discipline.
• 5–8 years' experience as a senior engineer.
• Experience leading I&C and life-safety design in high-tech facilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for I&C and Life Safety Systems, leading the technical design approach.
• Lead design activities coordinating with multi-discipline teams.
• Prepare and review basis of design docs, schematics, control philosophies, and P&ID content.
• Develop instrument lists, datasheets, cable schedules and control system architecture.
• Support operation teams and client engagements, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal leads to manage interfaces and changes.
