Job summary

Komfort Kare in Kilcullen, Co. Kildare, is looking for a Senior Home Support Worker to deliver person-centred care, assist with mobility, meals and wellbeing checks, and mentor fellow workers. You will support clients to live independently at home while maintaining the highest standards of care.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, a Level 6 healthcare qualification, and a full driving licence. You will collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care and safety.

Qualifications

• Essential: 2+ years experience in care
• Minimum Level 6 healthcare qualification
• QQI Level 5 healthcare major a
• Full B driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care including personal care, mobility support, meals, medication support and wellbeing checks
• Conduct spot checks, client reviews, care plan reviews and quality assurance visits
• Support and mentor Home Support Workers, including onboarding and shadow shifts
• Assist with risk assessments, compliance monitoring and service improvements
• Build strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals
