Job summary

Be Independent Homecare is seeking a Senior Health Care Assistant to join our team across Dublin southwest and surrounding areas. The role is on-site in Dublin, with a rotating schedule from 8am–9pm, 3 days one week and 4 days the next, including every second weekend.

You will deliver high-quality homecare, coordinate with our Care Manager and Nurse Management Team, and participate in ongoing training and development. A warm, dependable professional with care experience fits well here.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 QQI modules (Care Skills & Care of the Older Person) or equivalent, or a minimum of 1 years' paid experience in providing care.
• Be a cheerful, caring, positive and dependable person.
• Have suitable work references, permission to work and fluent English.
• Have Own Car and Full License.

Responsibilities

• Providing initial care to clients to implement their home care package.
• Taking on cover calls for other carers’ sick/annual leave in a rapid response capacity.
• Contribute to shadowing and mentoring new Homecare Assistants.
• Assist with the administration of client files in their homes.
