Optum in Ireland is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Payment Integrity BAR team. You will analyze operational and financial data, forecast performance, and develop dashboards using SQL and BI tools to support monthly reviews and strategic decisions.

The role collaborates with finance, actuarial, and operations, contributing to reporting modernization and data quality improvements in a hybrid Dublin/Letterkenny setting with flexible work arrangements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Proven experience in business analytics, financial analysis, reporting, or related analytical disciplines.
• Proven experience with large datasets and relational database technologies (SQL, Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake).
• Proven experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical deliverables.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex operational and financial data to support planning.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers affecting performance and savings.
• Support monthly/quarterly business reviews with reporting and commentary.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical tools.
• Monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to answer business questions.
• Develop reporting solutions using SQL and BI tools.
• Improve reporting processes and data quality through automation initiatives.
• Support forecasting and planning activities with analytical modeling.
• Gather and document requirements for reporting and analytics solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality.
