Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Health & Safety and Facilities Manager to lead safety across our customer site in Longford. You will own the Safety Management System, manage facilities, and drive a culture of safety on a fast-growing site.

We require 5+ years in health and safety within manufacturing or construction, with 2+ years in a leadership role, and a strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation. A full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ health and safety experience in manufacturing or construction.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
• Experience leading incident investigations.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Safety Management System in line with ISO 45001 and Irish legislation.
• Carry out daily inspections and audits; close out hazards.
• Lead incident investigations and provide well-evidenced reports.
• Manage lifting operations, forklift safety, and site transport.
• Own facilities, site services, budgets, and security; plan layouts for growth.
