Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Letterkenny is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to lead design, automation, and operation of cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will drive DevSecOps standards and secure, highly available enterprise platforms across regulated environments.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability, SRE, and cloud security, partnering with architecture, risk, and operations teams. Hybrid work in Ireland is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and operating cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with regulated financial services environments is preferred, including security & compliance constraints.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms on GCP.
• Lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Define platform standards, reusable cloud patterns, and infrastructure blueprints.
• Architect multi-region disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
• Establish and govern enterprise CI/CD frameworks.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and IaC principles.
• Drive environment and release automation, GitOps, and platform engineering best practices.
• Design and manage large-scale GKE environments and standardized container deployments.
• Implement SRE practices with SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident management.
