Job summary

The Maples Group seeks a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) for our Irish Funds and Investment Management team in Ireland. The role suits an experienced PSL or fee earner with a minimum of six years' PQE focusing on strategic client engagement, practice development and knowledge management.

You will develop precedents, monitor market developments and prepare concise client briefings, alerts and training materials as part of a high-calibre funds practice.

Qualifications

• Six+ years' PQE at a leading law firm with a funds background.
• Experience as PSL is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge management technology and document automation experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, drafting and technical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Developing, drafting and maintaining precedents, legal guides and practice notes.
• Researching, monitoring and analysing legal and market developments and trends.
• Preparing concise briefings for internal teams and external clients, including alerts and topical emails.
• Coordinating training sessions on relevant legal and regulatory matters with the L&D team.
• Assisting with client development and marketing initiatives, including thought leadership content, presentations, podcasts and webinars.
• Participating in client meetings and events, providing technical and commercial support to develop relationships.
• Reviewing and updating checklists and automated documents to ensure consistency across teams.
• Liaising with lawyers to gather feedback and promote knowledge management participation.
• Promoting knowledge systems and platforms across global teams.
