Job summary

Maples Group, Dublin, seeks a Legal Counsel to join MaplesFS in-house legal in Dublin. Reports to AGC and GC. 200+ Dublin teammates support global clients with best-in-class legal services.

Requires 3+ years in corporate law, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and fluent English. Experience with investment funds or structured finance is a plus; willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• University graduate with excellent academic background.
• Qualified to practice law in Ireland.
• Minimum three years' experience in corporate law with a recognised firm or as in-house counsel.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review and negotiate client contracts for Maples Group entities globally.
• Act as primary contact with Maples professionals across the global business for drafting/negotiation.
• Review client comments and produce revised drafts for prompt responses.
• Advise on issues arising in the ordinary course of service provision; review vendor contracts.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory developments and industry issues.
• Draft and update internal MaplesFS precedent documents and agreements.
• Assist with projects and initiatives; perform additional duties as required by GC/AGC.
