Job summary

Stelfox is partnering with a high-growth, AI-driven biotech company in Dublin to hire an experienced Fullstack engineer with a frontend tilt and solid Python/API background.

You will build frontend services and features for scientists to engage with complex datasets, leveraging Python APIs and modern tooling. Visa sponsorship is not provided; 5–8 years of software experience required.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software engineering experience (Fullstack or Frontend with server-side exposure).
• Experience with Python and APIs, and strong frontend focus.

Are you interested in joining a brand-new engineering team in Dublin working on something genuinely meaningful?

Stelfox is exclusively partnering with a high-growth, AI-driven biotech company that’s transforming how cancer drugs are discovered.

We are looking to hire an experienced Fullstack engineer who is weighted more towards frontend engineering and have a solid background with Python code and APIs.

You will join a team who are creating frontend services & user features that creates a strong UI layer for scientists, chemists, researchers to engaged with.

In summary, build intuitive, high-performance applications that empower scientists (biologists, chemists, researchers) to unlock insights from complex datasets.

Some of the general tech stack will consist of:

• Experience with APIs and backend - Python, FastAPI
• Agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code) as part of day-to-day development
• 5–8 years’ software engineering experience (Fullstack or Frontend with solid server side exposure)
• Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or similar.
• Exposure to domains such as Life Sciences, Clinical services, Drug Discovery, Bioinformatics is a bonus
