Job summary

Taktile is hiring a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join the Decide team. You will design and own the distributed execution engine for customer workflows and lead critical backend systems end-to-end on a flexible, hybrid basis.

You will shape product decisions and drive architecture in a fast-growing fintech environment. The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration with Product and Design, and working across Berlin, London, or Iași offices with no relocation support.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading complex projects in a senior capacity (2+ years).

In Team Decide you'll focus on designing the distributed execution engine that runs customer workflows. You'll own critical systems end-to-end on a team where your decisions shape the product.

What You'll Do

• Build and operate backend services in Python on AWS — Lambda functions, DynamoDB, Aurora, and event-driven pipelines that handle real production traffic. You'll leverage agentic AI tools as part of your daily workflow.
• Work on exciting AI initiatives such as MCP servers, agentic co-pilot
• Tackle hard backend problems — latency, reliability, and scalability are everyday concerns.
• Own your systems end-to-end: from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Make key architectural decisions — you'll have real authority over how things are built, not just what gets built.
• Raise the bar for the team through code reviews, mentoring, and improving our development tooling and processes.
• Work directly with Product and Design to shape what we build next.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading complex projects in a senior capacity (2+ years).
• Deep expertise in React
• Experience working with Design Systems to ensure a consistent UX among different parts of the product
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders on a shared vision.
• The ability to work in a hybrid model from our Berlin HQ, the London office, or the Iasi hub. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

Ideal, But Not Required

• Strong system design skills — you're comfortable making architectural trade-offs and defending them
• AWS Serverless experience at scale (Lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Aurora…)
