Job summary

The Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Galway, Ireland. This 70% front-end role focuses on modern Angular development while enabling work across APIs, backend services and cloud infra.

You will design, develop and deliver large-scale applications and mentor peers within a collaborative team. You’ll contribute to technical decisions, implement robust frontend features and improve system reliability, performance and test coverage while engaging with product,

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ commercial experience in software engineering, ideally within enterprise environments.
• Strong front-end development experience with Angular, TypeScript and RxJS.
• Good knowledge of modern Angular, including Signals.
• Experience working within Nx or monorepo environments.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API-driven architectures.
• Some experience working with Java/Spring-based services or similar backend technologies.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD and production support.
• Strong understanding of automated testing and modern development practices.
• Experience with Vitest and/or Storybook would be beneficial.
• Exposure to observability tooling and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

This is a 70% front-end focused role, with a strong emphasis on modern Angular development, while still giving you the opportunity to work across APIs, backend services and cloud infrastructure. You’ll have a hands-on role in technical design, development and delivery, as well as opportunities to influence engineering practices and support other engineers.
