Job summary

Elgin Energy in Ireland seeks a dynamic Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A) to lead the financial planning and analysis function. You will develop robust models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decisions and work with senior leadership across departments.

The role requires Chartered/Certified Accountant or CIMA, 4+ years in FP&A, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills to drive insights and reporting for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant – Chartered, Certified, or CIMA.
• 4+ years post‑qualification FP&A experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, modelling and forecasting skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Transition annual budget and long-term plan into BAU financial plan with ownership for delivery.
• Provide financial and commercial decision-making support across the business.
• Manage annual budgeting process with detailed budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Improve budgeting models for P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.
• Conduct variance analyses and trend identification to support decisions.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
