Job summary

Brightwater seeks a Finance Data/BI professional in Dublin to develop and maintain finance data models, reporting datasets and data quality controls.

You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reporting solutions, develop KPI reporting and provide financial insights. The role also involves supporting financial analysis, automating processes, and ensuring data quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• 510+ years' relevant experience in Finance Data, BI, Analytics, Finance Transformation or a related field.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with financial data and management reporting.
• Strong SQL experience.
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Python desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain finance data models, reporting datasets and data quality controls.
• Manage and analyse data using cloud-based platforms, SQL and other analytical tools.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reporting solutions.
• Develop KPI reporting and provide financial and business performance insights.
• Support financial analysis, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Automate manual reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency and business processes.
• Work with Finance and wider business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and reporting standards.
