ISAC Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position in the Finance Dept to be based in Fortunestown, Tallaght, Dublin 24. Hybrid work may be available.

ISAC Ltd is a Shared Services Company within the CRH Group which provides a centralised Finance and Administration Function for fellow CRH Group companies. This role will be primarily involved in the accounts receivable for customers within Roadstone Ltd.

Position outline:

The Senior Financial Accountant is key to ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting across entities within the organisation. This position is responsible for leading the annual audit process, collaborating closely with external auditors to facilitate as smooth and efficient process. The role will oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Support the annual audit and statutory accounts preparation and filing.
  • End to end responsibility for the preparation of annual financial statements under IFRS ensuring all reporting deadlines are met as scheduled.
  • Review of quarterly Financial Reporting submissions to CRH Group for all reporting entities under US GAAP.
  • Oversight of certain monthly reporting areas.
  • Liaising with the tax advisors in relation to corporation tax compliance, VAT, RCT and any other tax related matters, ensuring timely filing.
  • Maintain and enhance internal financial controls, ensuring SOX regulations are adhered to.
  • Liaising with Directors, Senior Managers and other departments as required.
  • Liaising directly with multiple other third parties to include a range of banks, Revenue Commissioners, and other relevant consultants.
  • Performance management of reporting line.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and special projects as required.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to check accuracy of own work.

Key Attributes & Experience

  • Qualification ACA/ACCA with 3-5 PQE
  • Experience with corporation tax, VAT and RCT essential
  • Knowledge of Oracle an advantage
  • Experience of USGAAP reporting and SOX controls
  • Experience in people management preferred
