Allied World in Dublin is seeking a qualified accountant with at least 3 years post-qualification experience in an insurance accounting environment. You will contribute to financial reporting, regulatory submissions, and close deadlines.

Knowledge of SAP and Irish/UK GAAP is desirable; experience with Solvency II/UK reporting, EIOPA templates, and IFRS/US GAAP is valued. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

• Meet tight weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and risk-related disclosures.
• Liaise with stakeholders across the organisation to gather data.

Must be a qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualification experience, specifically in an insurance accounting environment.

• Knowledge of SAP (general ledger system) is an advantage
• Experience with Irish/UK GAAP GAAP accounting is required
• Experience preparing legal entity financial statements with exposure to regulatory reporting including Solvency II/Solvency UK or equivalent
• Experience with the preparation of EIOPA/Solvency UK quantitative reporting templates or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a high growth, fast-paced, change environment
• Team player with ability to meet tight weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines with flexibility to adapt and grow as responsibilities increase
• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
• Computer literacy and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and an ability to liaise with stakeholders across all levels within the organisation
• Ability to work independently and part of team
• Good organisational skills and ability to multitask
