Grifols, S.A. in Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Senior Finance Analyst for R&D Controlling & BI to support the Global Innovation & R&D Controlling function with control, reporting, and budgeting across R&D projects.

You will perform month-end close, monitor actuals vs budget, maintain project tracking, develop data representations, and prepare business cases for pipeline projects. Requires 3–5 years in multinational pharma and strong English communication.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Finance Analyst - R&D Controlling & BI is responsible to assist the Global Innovation & R&D Controlling department for the control & reporting of the Scientific Innovation Office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform month end close duties such as journal entries and management reports.
• Deeply understanding of the ongoing R&D operations and the most updated status of all R&D projects, to add the maximum value to the organization.
• Manage actuals versus budget to allow R&D to attain targets.
• Oversee maintenance of R&D tracking systems and work to enhance/develop improved project tracking capabilities
• Develop methodologies and execute processes to create meaningful representations of data for R&D project tracking as required by management.
• Perform the business budget and forecasting process.
• Manage the monthly/year-end closing and financial reporting process, analysis of operating results and budget versus actual reporting, including detailed explanations of variances.
• Provide support for special projects and ad hoc requests.
• Prepare business cases and financial evaluations for current pipeline projects and new business opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining of the cost accounting system, involving master data and project portfolio.

Qualifications

• BA in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in multinational corporations
• Excellent communication skills across all levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in Pharma
