Job summary

Xenon Building Technology Ltd is expanding and seeks an experienced Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This full-time field-based role is based from Cork, with work carried out at client sites nationwide.

You will install, commission, service, and upgrade CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in the Fire & Security industry, strong fault-finding skills, and a full

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in Fire & Security.
Proven hands-on experience across CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, fire alarm, and emergency lighting.
Electronic Security Systems Qualification or Electrical Craft Certificate (QQI Level 6 or equivalent preferred).
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage work independently while understanding project and client requirements.
Install, commission, fault-find, maintain, repair, and upgrade electronic security systems.
Install, commission, service, and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
Lead troubleshooting on complex technical issues.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers when required.
Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Conduct system demonstrations for clients and provide technical support.
