The Senior Expert, Controlling GBU BLS is responsible for managing all Finance Control tasks for the GBU. Partners with GBU/RBU Management, RBU Financial Control team, and group functions on finance control tasks. Ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all financial reporting functions, and maintains good control, visibility, and accurate data and messages provided to management.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

1. Partner with the GBU President to drive the GBU's financial performance.
2. Represent the GBU at the Board level as required.
3. Manage financial control and results for the GBU.
4. Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts of expenses under GBU cost centers.
5. Review and monitor actual expenses under GBU cost centers.
6. Lead and review cost back-charging from regions to GBU cost centers, including method determination and billing review.
7. Plan and monitor costs on GBU internal projects.
8. Lead the budgeting and forecasting of GBU's financial KPIs across regions, in collaboration with GBU and RBU leaders.
9. Review and monitor actual financial results, perform analysis, and propose improvement actions.
10. Review reports such as Tagetik, GPR, Utilization, cost center, and Sales Force reports.
11. Monitor trends in business acquisition and other financial KPIs for near and mid-term periods.
12. Lead periodic financial result reviews with GBU and RBU teams, and prepare reports for management review.
13. Conduct financial reviews of project budgets during tendering stages.
14. Review financial risks using TERA/PIRA and TFU reports, providing comments at the GBU level.
15. Conduct special audits or reviews on major projects or issues as required.
16. Prepare ad hoc reports for management as needed.
17. Lead internal and external audits at the GBU level.
18. Support financial aspects of M&A projects as needed.
19. Collaborate with Corporate Controlling to ensure alignment.
20. Participate in, implement, and integrate corporate financial initiatives.
21. Perform deep dives into project finances as required.
